Manfred Wagner is Head of Sourcing Enablement at Swiss Re Group, one of the world's leading
providers of reinsurance, insurance, and other forms of insurance-based risk transfer. He has joined
the Global Sourcing department in 2018 with a mandate to digitize Swiss Re´s procurement
processes. Manfred joined Swiss Re in 2013 as expert in the field of transformation and programme
management and has led various digitalisation initiatives. Manfred has started his career in software
engineering and, before joining Swiss Re, has led a team of tech transformation specialists for a
global consulting company with a focus on IT-strategy, enterprise architecture, und project &
programme management for financial services clients.
